It’s so hard to believe the little ones are back in school already! What could beat a whimsical back-to-school photo shoot? This back to school portrait shoot post is VERY late in coming, as far as sharing goes, but it’s hard to make time for blogging! I just had to share these darling back to school pics anyway. These portraits were taken days before D. started KINDERGARTEN. Unbelievable. You can see how proud and excited he is in his portraits. It’s a child photographer’s dream to capture to emotion our little ones have. For parents, it’s so hard to remember all of the details, so I love when a photograph can save some of them forever!

For this portrait session, we had a little mini portrait adventure, complete with taking a walk to “school,” reading, writing, and even a little teaching (D. teaching me!) At one point, D. was telling me all about the planets and how they fit together and race through the solar system. Such sweet moments to capture on camera!
