Weelllllll, I suppose summer is most definitely officially over. I know, I know, it has been gone for some time now. Does anyone else mourn the end of summer, or is it just me? Don’t get me wrong, I really do love the fall – the gorgeous colors as the leaves change, crisp mornings, sometimes blanketed in mysterious fog, but oh summer! It’s my favorite. So, for those of you who might be missing summer just a little bit, here is a sneak peak into the portrait adventure I had with my boys to celebrate the end of summer. What better way to do that than with an end-of-summer lemonade stand?! When I do a portrait adventure, I love to get the kiddos involved in every part of the action. They love to play (and so do I,) so it’s a win-win for everyone! Why not catch them in their element?
Here, they “paint” and “build” the stand. I love how little C wants to do everything like big brothers!
What do these little yellow things taste like?
Whoa!
But they are strangely delicious… I. just. can’t. stop!
Good thing we weren’t really selling this lemonade! Talk about some major health code violations! 😉
TAKE THAT, YOU SIGN!
Oh I just ADORE how this Last Lemonade Stand of the Summer portrait adventure captured my boys in their element. They love to create & play, they love lemonade stands and always make big plans for them, they love making messes, and they love sugar! 😉 And I have the portrait memories to cherish forever. Did you see little C’s precious curls? Well, one day, I will have to cut his hair, and the curls will most likely be gone forever, just like his big brothers’. This photo shoot serves as one last showcase of those amazing blonde curls. They grow up all too quickly! Sigh…
I hope you enjoyed this peek into their world as much as I did! I’d love to go on an adventure with you, too. Just drop me a line, and let’s start dreaming!
Delightfully,
Kristen
