Yes, I am wayyyy behind on blogging, but I wanted to share some fun filled Seattle area senior pictures of beautiful Hailee. I love it when I get to know my clients and we have fun pulling their loves into their portraits to tell their story. That’s just what happened with Hailee and her senior portraits, and it all started with one of those risks I took. She told me that she loves anything football, watching football, playing football, going to games, whatever…but that she is also a girly girl. Since I love juxtaposing the unexpected, I asked what she thought about wearing a girly girl dress while sporting a football in some of her senior portraits. She was game for that (no pun intended,) so I just couldn’t stop myself and asked, “What if you wore some of that black stuff that football players put under their eyes?” Yes, that is exactly what said because I didn’t realize it is called “eye black.” Who knew? Well, she loved that idea too and went above and beyond. When we met at her portrait shoot location, she came out of the car wearing aviator sunglasses and gleaming red lips. “Oh those lips!” I exclaimed, to which her mother replied, “Wait until you see her eyes.” Oh! The love and beauty of it all. She had a modern take on a retro 40’s-ish look going on, and I was beside myself with excitement. THIS is why I love what I do. How much fun I get to have with my clients on photo shoots. Well, as you’ll see below, Hailee totally rocked her senior portraits, red lips, luscious red lips, and all. You can see her love of curling up with a good book and a warm cup of coffee too. Pull up a chair and step a bit into her story….Oh, and her family decided to get an art book so they could keep the whole story of her photographic adventure in a beautiful keepsake. You know what that means: a bunch of pics to share below cause it’s too hard to eliminate too many!
