One thing I love about being a custom portrait photographer is getting to know each client on a personal level, whether she is a high school senior or three-year-old girl or whether they are a family of five or a couple in love…. It’s just so fun to ask the (sometimes seemingly silly) questions to get down to the heart of who each person is. For Bekah, during her senior portrait consult, one fun part I discovered about her (and her Mom) is that hey are both huge foodies! That was my chance to ask one of those questions to see if she’d love my idea or think it was the silliest thing ever. I asked if she’d like to somehow incorporate the foodie aspect into her senior pictures and her eyes widened with excitement. (I love that!) We started dreaming of cupcakes and cake stands and the rest was history. Oh, and did I mention that I went out on a limb and brought along one of my favorite Hollywood Glam-esque chairs? (Again, I had no idea what she and her cousin and BFF, Lexi would think of it, but they both squealed with joy at the sight of it.) YES! I loved that Bekah brought Lexi along for some shots too, and we captured a ton of gorgeous memories for Bekah’s Art Book.
What a trooper! She was just doing everything I said, so I said, drop and do a push up…and she did it! LOL Yes, these portraits are going in the art book!
I love how Bekah’s fun-loving spirit comes through in her senior portraits:
Bekah, Lexi, and (mom) Staci, thanks for such a fun time! We made beautiful senior portrait artwork together and had some tasty treats too!
Delightfully,
Kristen
