And since I’m all into sharing my own adventures in babyland with little C, I thought I would continue sharing his first year of official newborn and baby portraits. I really wanted to style some of his newborn photo shoot to match the theme of my maternity & family portraits, our hot cocoa in the woods family portrait adventure.  That way, someday when I really get around to creating a book, showcasing both little C’s newborn photos and my maternity photos, there would be a lovely flow and showcase a continuation of the story we created in my maternity photos. That’s something I love – creating a story, an adventure, for my dear clients to have. They step into the story that really captures their story and documents it in a marvelously beautiful and creative way. That’s what I’m about. That’s what makes my heart sing. So of course I would continue that heart-song into my own family’s portraits.

The next one completes a vision I had. I wanted a canvas of my three boys, cozying up on my bed, crisp white sheets and all, so that I could hang it in my bedroom and gaze upon their sweet faces each day. This is a precious moment in time captured and preserved forever. Oh how quickly they grow!
