Rachel is a sweet young woman with a huge heart for important causes. We wanted to capture in her senior portraits some of her love for causes like Invisible Children and Falling Whistles (I hope I got those right.) If you feel so inclined, go look those up and see what you can do to help. Rachel looked beautiful and was ready for anything! She had her makeup done by my beauty consultant, and it really helped bring out her natural beauty. I love the variety of locations and expressions we captured, from finding the big tractor to the fun smiles to those amazing orange shoes! We both agreed the shoes would pair beautifully with her purple dress for her senior pictures and boy could she pull it off! I worked my magic on artfully retouching a bunch of them, because she decided to get one of my new LookBook TXTs. It’s a mini album with a journal/guestbook option, looks fantastic, and is an amazing keepsake. Maybe I will post some pics of the finished product when it’s all assembled.

Thanks, Rachel! It was a joy getting to know you and having a senior portrait adventure with you!

Delightfully,

Kristen

Natalie also brought a fun group of gals to cheer her on during her senior shoot. Something especially wondeful is that we were able to schedule her session before her older sister left to go back to school! She joined us for a few of the pictures too, and I loved seeing the bond the two of them have. Natalie opted for an Indoor and Outdoor shoot, giving her the variety of both worlds, and we captured some gorgeous moments! Here are some of them:

Natalie, thanks for great fun! You looked wonderful.

Cheers,

Marina | {Senior Pictures} Class of 2011 Seattle Senior Portrait Photographer

Meet Marina. Her name means “Princess of the Sea,” which I think is so perfect, given how she loves the water, is a swimmer, and that so much of her life revolves around “the sea,” so to speak! She had quite a fun group of girls join her for her senior portrait session, and we […]

She had quite a fun group of girls join her for her senior portrait session, and we all had a blast together, searching for the perfect settings for Marina’s senior pictures. As you’ll see in some of my favorites of her senior portraits below, she has such a fresh, natural beauty – and such a fun, lively spirit, full of laughter. Here are some great pics:

Marina, I had a blast on your shoot and have loved getting to know you!

Best wishes,

If you’ve already read my previous post about Ali having her senior portrait shoot back-to-back with Ali, well, then you’re really fast cause I just posted it! lol. Well, here’s Ally (not to be confused with Ali,) feeling at home in some beautiful outdoor settings. (Ally is a real outdoorsy gal and wanted to have her senior pictures reflect that.) We found so many beautiful places, full of fields and flowers, and were even given a bunch of freshly-cut basil by one of the pea patch plot owners. It was a little bit of magic on her senior shoot. Ally even pulled off some urban shots for fun and looks great in both settings. So…here she is!

Ally, I had so much fun with you! Thanks for a wonderful senior portrait session experience…and I love your freckles. 🙂

Delightfully,

Kristen

Okay, so I have been seriously off-the-radar, as far as blogging and posting on Facebook go. I’m going to see if I can do a little marathon here and get up a bunch of pics for you to enjoy. It is senior pictures season, as many of you know, and I have been LOVING working […]

Okay, so I have been seriously off-the-radar, as far as blogging and posting on Facebook go. I’m going to see if I can do a little marathon here and get up a bunch of pics for you to enjoy. It is senior pictures season, as many of you know, and I have been LOVING working with so many amazing high school seniors. So, without further ado: here is Ali. She is a self-described “girly-girl,” as you can see in her wonderful eye for feminine fashion in her senior portraits. She and her great friend, Ally (I know – Ali and Ally – too fun) did their sessions back-to-back (really a super long session with the fun of bouncing laughter and good times off of a friend during your senior portrait shoot) and had a wonderful time! Here are some of my favorites:

Thanks, Ali! I had a wonderful time with you on your senior photo shoot!

Cheers,

Kristen
